The steep hills of Donnachadh Vineyard are an impressive sight, and with their more eastern location in the Sta. Rita Hills, are possibly growing some of the best cold-cliamte Syrah in Santa Barbara County.  The total number of acres planted to Syrah in Sta. Rita Hills are tiny.  The results are amazing with wild aromas of dark bramble berries, very Mediterranean, savage, powerful, black pepper, juicy and concentrated. Fermentation was 50% whole cluster.
